How Xyzal® tablets work

Xyzal® tablets contain the antihistamine levocetirizine dihydrochloride that helps reduce allergic symptoms by preventing the effects of a substance called histamine.

Histamine is produced by the body in response to foreign substances which the body is allergic to and leads to itchy and watery eyes, itchy, runny and blocked noses, skin rashes and other symptoms of hayfever and allergies.

Dosage and administration

Xyzal® tablets are suitable for adults and children over the age of 12 years.

The typical dose is 1 tablet daily, taken at any time. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. It can be taken with or without food.
